Increase community engagement by developing programs that inspire lifelong learning and connecting people to opportunities for personal and professional growth.  

• Promote practical and educational sessions on mental and physical health needs, Tax help, legal help, and other professional needs.

• Meet authors (especially local authors).

• Professional development should not only include resume building but include interview prep and networking.

Enhance Accessibility so that services can be expanded to meet the ever-changing needs of all residents whether they are children, students, young adults, working professionals, seniors and families. 

• We need to ensure that our community benefits from resources like updated technology, digital literacy programs, and expanded online access.  We live in a world where we all need to understand cybersecurity and AI. 

• I would also like to promote civic services as well such as DMV and passport services.

Encouraging inclusivity so that the library remains a welcoming space that celebrates diversity and serves as a resource for everyone. Let’s learn from each other.  Bloomingdale is becoming a more diverse community and diversity can be our strength.
